1. Stay Involved in Professional Organization such as the Greater San Diego Teachers of English (have Fall and Spring Conferences, always looking for presenters, California Association of Teachers of English

2. Being a fellow gives access to many doors.

3. Presenting pushes you and underestimate the value of your ideas.

4. Referenced research by John Hattie, meta-analyses of thousands of studies on effective teaching.
